Buddy Boy

Caleb has been such a good sleeper! Last night he only ate at 1:30 and 5:30 this morning. He has been going 4 to 4 1/2 hour stretches at night which is so nice! Since he gained 18 ounces in a week and a half the pediatrician said we didn't have to wake him every 3 hours and could let him sleep until he told us he was hungry. Thanks Caleb for being such a good sleeper. It seems like I have him on a pretty good schedule now which didn't take long at all. Good job buddy boy!!!

Things are going really well over here and Maddie just loves her baby brother. She helps me get diapers, his clothes and loves to help put his pacifier in his mouth. She is so gentle and loving to him. She calls him buddy boy and kisses him and loves on him all day. It's very sweet.

Since we haven't been able to go outside with Caleb in this heat we've been doing the sprinkler outside and slip n slide. Thankfully we have a yard and can get out in the yard while Caleb hangs out inside the air conditioning. I put him right by the back door so I can look in through the door to check on him while watching Maddie as well:) we are looking forward to 80 degree weather so I can head to the pool or splash pad park with both of them.

We had a great weekend at my parents in Lake Geneva. It's always so fun to be with my family! Here are a few pictures--- She loves the water! Maddie adores Caleb My Dad and Bob took Maddie to the golf range to hit some balls. So cute:) Teeing up her ball! Girl after my own heart:) My Mom made some delicious chocolate fondue! Maddie ate is up! Caleb is awake! He sleeps so much it's nice to have a picture of him not sleeping:) My parents and grandparents watched Maddie and Caleb so Bob and I could have a night out. We went to the Baker House in Lake Geneva. Such a cute place! It's a 20's restaurant so they have fun hats to wear while you eat your food. It was a great night to spend together:):):)

Ballet

Maddie had her first ballet class on Tuesday and she had a blast! It was so cute to see her and her friend Georgia dressed in their cute leotards and doing all the cute poses. She's my social butterfly!

Fun day!

Yesterday we went for a morning walk to Starbucks. It was such a beautiful day! When we got home Bob took Maddie to the pool for a couple hours while I rested with Caleb:) later that day Maddie played with some kids outside and then we headed into town for dinner and some fun:)

We all packed up and went to the pool this afternoon. It was such a gorgeous day! Bob is off this whole week for paternity leave which has been great to have him home:) Maddie is a little fish in the water. She loves jumping into the pool and it was so fun watching her having a blast!
